Updated 2 October 2026.
KioskForce is a custom kiosk manufacturer. We design kiosk hardware and kiosk software in-house and build each kiosk to the customer’s specification, from a branded version of our standard model to a fully custom enclosure. We do not sell off a catalog: you tell us what the kiosk has to do, where it will stand and what it must connect to, and we design the solution around that.
All KioskForce kiosks are smart/IoT-connected: touchscreen, Ethernet with optional WiFi or 4G/5G, RFID/PIN/QR access control (biometric readers optional, at extra cost and quoted per project) and a cloud management dashboard. See the full smart technology stack → Need the kiosk to dispense products as well? See kiosk vending machines.
What a custom kiosk manufacturer does
A kiosk is a system, not a screen on a stand: an enclosure, a touchscreen, a computer, peripherals (payment, ID readers, printers, lockers or a dispenser), software and a back-office connection, all of which must work together unattended. A custom kiosk manufacturer designs that system for a specific job and builds it. That differs from a reseller, which sells a fixed range of standard models, and from a software company, which writes the kiosk app and buys hardware from someone else.
At KioskForce, the people who design the enclosure, the control board integration and the software sit in the same team at our Nanjing office, and the same engineers support the kiosk after it ships. Kiosks are built at several partner factories in China, which lets us match each project to the right sheet-metal and assembly line. We produce about 600 units a month across kiosks, vending machines and smart lockers, and have worked with customers in more than ten industries. See manufacturing facilities and about KioskForce.

How we build a custom kiosk
1. Requirements
You tell us what the kiosk must do, who will use it, where it will stand (indoor, near windows, sheltered or fully outdoor), how many units and which countries they ship to, and what it must connect to: payment, access control, your ERP, CMMS or ServiceNow. A short written brief and a site photo are enough to start. Accessibility and certification requirements for the destination market are captured here, not discovered later.
2. Design
Our engineers propose the enclosure (dimensions, material, finish, branding), screen size and touch technology, peripherals, locker or dispensing modules, and the software flow. For a modified standard model this is a configuration of the K180-6C or one of our vending platforms; for a fully custom kiosk it is a new structural design. You review drawings and the screen flow before anything is cut.
3. Sample or pilot unit
A sample unit is built and tested so you can check the build, the user journey and the integration before committing to volume. Many buyers ship the sample to site as a pilot. Changes found here are cheap; changes after production are not.
4. Production
Once the sample is signed off, production runs at our partner factories, with quality control by our Nanjing team. Software is loaded and tested before the kiosks are packed.
5. Shipment and handover
We quote EXW, FOB or CIF. Freight, duties and installation are extra; see shipping and landed cost. Kiosks arrive ready to place and connect. On-site installation is optional and done by your own contractor or, in some regions, a local distributor; KioskForce does not install on site. Support is by email from the engineers who designed the system, or through the local distributor where one supplied the kiosk.

Choosing a kiosk manufacturer
Kiosk companies fall into a few types, and the type matters more than the name:
| Supplier type | What you get | Fits when |
|---|---|---|
| Catalog kiosk vendor or reseller | A fixed range of standard enclosures, fast delivery | A standard tablet or kiosk stand is enough |
| Software-led integrator | Kiosk software on third-party hardware | The software is the hard part and standard hardware fits |
| Domestic custom fabricator | Custom enclosures made in your own country | You need local manufacture, e.g. Buy America funding |
| Factory-direct design-and-build manufacturer (KioskForce) | Hardware and software designed together, built to spec in China | You need a custom kiosk, lockers or dispensing, integration, and factory-direct pricing |
Whoever you shortlist, ask: who designs the hardware and who writes the software; can we see a sample before production; which certification marks the kiosk carries for our market, with certificates; who owns the kiosk data and software configuration; who installs, services and holds spare parts in our region; and what the landed cost is, including freight and duty. Our manufacturer vetting guide lists the checks in detail.
Where we are not the right choice: if your project requires US-made or Buy America content, buy from a US manufacturer. If you need on-site installation and training from the manufacturer itself, choose a supplier with a local service team or work with a local distributor; KioskForce does not provide on-site service. If one catalog kiosk this week is all you need, a reseller will be faster.
Industries and projects
We design kiosks, vending machines and lockers for retail, hotels, healthcare, transportation, education, equipment hire and more. Published project write-ups include peak-hour bakery self-service, food delivery lockers, HIV self-test dispensing and PPE vending with per-user quotas. See all custom projects.
Frequently asked questions
What types of kiosks does KioskForce build?
KioskForce builds three kinds of kiosks: self-service kiosks for ordering, check-in, payment, ticketing, information and wayfinding; robotic kiosks with integrated dispensing arms or automated mechanisms for unattended retail and industrial use; and specialty terminals, which are custom interactive systems for uses such as equipment rental, test-kit dispensing and access-controlled asset management. Many of them combine a touchscreen with lockers or a vending mechanism. Every kiosk is designed to specification, with no catalog constraints.
How much does a custom kiosk from KioskForce cost?
Our K180-6C standard kiosk has an indicative retail price of USD 1,800 per unit. Touchscreen vending machines start at USD 1,200 (BG10X10) and USD 2,100 (KF10X22), and an equipment-hire smart locker system of 4 to 8 compartments starts at about USD 8,000 including hardware and setup. Prices are before freight, duties and installation. A custom kiosk is quoted on its specification: enclosure size and finish, screen size and brightness, peripherals (including optional biometric readers), locker or dispensing modules, outdoor rating and software integration all change the price.
What’s the lead time for a custom kiosk from KioskForce?
Lead times range from 4 to 12 weeks depending on complexity. Customising a standard model (colour, branding, payment set-up) takes 4 to 6 weeks and can be ordered from 1 unit. A fully custom enclosure with new tooling takes 8 to 12 weeks and typically starts at 10 units. Software customisation is scoped separately, and freight time is added on top. Contact us for a project-specific timeline.
Can KioskForce kiosks integrate with existing software systems?
Yes. KioskForce kiosks run on Android-based industrial control boards and are managed through a cloud dashboard from our software partner Vending on Track. They integrate through a REST API and CSV import and export with ERP systems, facility management software and access control databases, and we offer native ServiceNow integration for ITSM workflows. Connectivity is Ethernet with optional WiFi and 4G/5G. Our software team works with your IT department by email to agree the integration.
Where are KioskForce kiosks manufactured?
KioskForce kiosks are designed and engineered at our Nanjing office and manufactured at several partner factories in China. Working with more than one factory lets us match each project to the right sheet metal and assembly line rather than depending on a single plant. Design, engineering and quality control are run by the Nanjing team, and we export worldwide on EXW, FOB or CIF terms. Buyers who need US-made or Buy America content should use a US manufacturer.
Do you install the kiosks on site?
No. KioskForce does not install, commission or train on site. Kiosks ship ready to place and connect; on-site installation, where needed, is done by your own contractor or, in some regions, by a local distributor. Support is by email from the engineers who designed the system, or through the local distributor where one supplied the kiosk, and that distributor also handles warranty and service.
What is the minimum order quantity for a custom kiosk?
One unit for a modified standard model, such as the K180-6C with your branding, screen content and payment set-up. Fully custom designs with a new enclosure typically start at 10 units, because tooling and engineering are spread across the batch. A single sample or pilot unit can be built first so you can test it before the production order.
