10-inch Touchscreen Vending Machine

The KF6X10 is KioskForce’s narrowest floor-standing touchscreen vending machine: a 3-wide cabinet 616 mm wide, 735 mm deep and 1,970 mm high, for corridors, break rooms, offices and other positions where a standard machine will not fit. A 10-inch touchscreen with a shopping cart sits flush with the door frame, and a QR code scanner is built into the frame. It carries six selections per row on six trays (up to 36 selections), runs ambient or refrigerated (R290 or R134a), and takes QR code-based payment only. There is no published starting price; it is quoted per configuration.

The KF6X10 is built for positions that are too narrow for a standard vending machine. It is a 3-wide cabinet with the same 10-inch touchscreen experience as the larger models: customers browse, add several items to a cart and pay by scanning a QR code. Choose it when floor width is the limit but you still want a screen, chilled stock or more selections than a wall-mount unit holds.

Who the KF6X10 is for

  • Narrow corridors, break rooms and offices. At 616 mm it is just over half the width of the 5-wide BG10X10 (1,110 mm).
  • Cold drinks or chilled food where width is short. It is the narrowest refrigerated touchscreen cabinet in the range, so it fits beside a reception desk or in an alcove. Compact wall-mount units are ambient.
  • Sites where customers pay by phone. Payment is QR-based, which suits workplaces, campuses and venues where people already carry a wallet app or a code.

Fitting it through the building

The narrow body helps on the delivery route as well as at the final position. The KF6X10 is 735 mm deep, so it passes through an 815 mm (32-inch) clear door opening, the minimum in the 2010 ADA Standards, with about 80 mm to spare. The 820 mm deep BG10X10 and KF10X22 do not, unless the door is wider or the door leaf is removed. At 1,970 mm tall, check door heights and lift car heights along the route as well. Leave room in front of the machine for the user to stand and for the door to open during restocking.

Configuration options

Payment

The published configuration takes QR code-based payment only. The touchscreen shows a QR code for the order, or the scanner in the frame reads a code from the customer’s phone. Supported QR wallets depend on the market, for example WeChat Pay and Alipay in China, or VendCoin (Tap & Go, QR code) from our Australian software partner Vending on Track in Australia and the UK. See payment methods for how each one works and what happens when the network drops.

Screen features

  • Shopping cart. Customers buy several items in one transaction. See shopping cart.
  • Nutrition information. On the 10-inch screen this is a nutrition icon with a tap-to-view panel. See nutrition information.
  • Code entry. The default homepage can be set to the product selection page or to a code input page, for free-vend or code-release programs.

Refrigeration

Choose ambient, or refrigerated with R290 or R134a refrigerant, to suit the products and the destination market. Refrigerated KioskForce machines have a health-control block that stops sales when the cabinet goes out of temperature range. The threshold, the time allowed above it and how the block is cleared are set to your food-safety rules. If you are selling fresh or chilled food, see the guide to refrigerated vending machines for fresh and healthy food.

Coils and layout

The coil type and pitch are chosen per selection so that each product drops reliably. See coil options and try the layout in the planogram configurator before you request a quotation.

Telemetry and reporting

Sales, stock and faults are reported to the cloud dashboard. Item-level reporting comes from the machine’s own telemetry, so every order records which product was sold, when and at what price.

When the KF6X10 is the wrong choice

  • You need cash or a card terminal. The KF6X10 is QR only. The BG10X10 takes QR, MDB cashless and MDB cash, and the KF10X22 takes an MDB card reader, note reader and coin mech.
  • You need more than 36 selections. A 5-wide, 6-tray machine holds up to 60.
  • There is no floor space at all. A compact wall-mount vending machine mounts on brick or drywall, typically 200–350 mm deep, but it is ambient.
  • You want a large screen for advertising. The KF10X22 has a 22-inch touchscreen.

Price, lead time and ordering

  • Price: no published starting price; the KF6X10 is quoted per configuration. For comparison, the BG10X10 starts from USD 1,200 and the KF10X22 from USD 2,100. See vending machine cost.
  • Minimum order: modified standard models (colour, branding, payment configuration) can be ordered as a single unit. Fully custom designs with a new enclosure or custom software typically start at 10 units.
  • Lead time: 4–6 weeks to build a modified standard model, 8–12 weeks for a full custom design, plus shipping.
  • Power and certification: built to the electrical supply of the destination market. Tell us the market at quotation and we confirm which certification marks and test reports come with the build.
  • Warranty and support: 12-month standard warranty covering manufacturing defects. Support is by email, or through the local distributor where one supplied the machine; that distributor also handles warranty and service. On-site installation is optional and, in some regions, provided through a local distributor.
